Third-Party and Supply Chain Risk Management for the ICT Sector

FEDERAL SECURITY ENHANCEMENTS

Regulations Again  Transform the ICT Market

Following October 2021 action by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to revoke China Telecom's U.S. subsidiary's authority to operate in the United States, the FCC has now revoked China Unicom's U.S. operations and international authority.

In order to prevent disruption, companies will have to illuminate where these Chinese telecom operators intersect with their supply chain. Companies will need an AI-powered SCRM solution to identify and mitigate the risk within a 60-day window.

The information and communications technology (ICT) supply chain is a complex, globally interconnected ecosystem. The FCC's continued action demands that the industry creates transparent and reliable supply chains to curb foreign influence and cyber risk.
